comiXology at Think Mobile and Web2Expo NYC

David, here. Just a heads up that I’ll be speaking at the Think Mobile Conference in San Francisco this Thursday. I’ll be talking about UI Design. The actual session is called Perfecting the User Experience. That’s a darned lofty title, so I’ll be dialing it down a bit and talking about why what we’ve designed really works for comics. Details on the conference can be found here. Looks like a great day of talks.

Then, on the following Tuesday back in NYC, I’ll be talking about the erroneous death knell of print comics at Web2Expo. That has a catchy title, too: Reports of Media Death Greatly Exaggerated. Most of you know that we think print comics will thrive with the advent of digital. I’ll be talking through why we think that and how we can help achieve it. Details on that one can be found here. This is a great event over a few days, and well worth it.
