New pull list email benefits retailers
Posted on January 6th, 2011 - 09:30 AM by David SteinbergerYesterday we rolled out a new format for our print pull-list customer Wednesday pull-list email. We think it’s more readable, and one huge improvement is that we now show your local store if you aren’t connected to a retailer already.
This is a huge deal for our retailer partners (did you know we sell retailer services at retailers.comixology.com? It allows brick-and-mortar retailers to get their pull lists directly from their customers via comiXology), as it exposes our partner retail sites to people in their area that aren’t already connected to a store!

To the right, see an example call out for an email sent in the New York City area, for our partner Jim Hanley’s Universe.
We’re also soon going to be giving users a reminder about their pre-orders, and when they should get their pre-orders into comiXology to make sure they get their books! It’s not just about this Wednesday, after all. Retailers need to know what you want up to three months in advance!
