Read Comics in Public Day 2011

Despite  a massive Hurricane over  the Eastern United Sates this weekend, the annual comic holiday known as Read Comics in Public day went off without so much as single set back despite many comic book fans not being to actually go out in public on Sunday. Proving that comics can be enjoyed just about anywhere and in even the most extreme conditions.

What started out as a Joke has quickly become something of a global movement among comic book readers over the past few years. This year’s event continued the tradition with even more media coverage than ever before.  Check out the totally awesome Gallery over at the official Read Comics in Public Day website as well as Women Read Comics in Public Too (Awesome job ladies!). True for many of us Read Comics in Public Day is everyday, but is there really any harm in picking out a special day of the year for our favorite past time?
