Get Warren Ellis’ Transmetropolitan on sale for 4 days at comiXology

Posted on October 19th, 2012 - 10:39 AM by

Groundbreaking in scope and epic in scale, Warren Ellis’s Transmetropolitan changed the face of comic books when the first issue hit the shelves way back in 1997 and for the next four days Vertigo is cutting the place on all 60 issues of the original series plus Transmetropolitan: I Hate It Here and Transmetropolitan: Filth of the City on comiXology!

In the near future, gonzo journalist/cult author Spider Jerusalem lives fast and loose in The City–a chaotic melting pot of cultures, subcultures, life-forms, and technologies. Mastermind writer Warren Ellis (The Authority) delivers this sharp, manic, anything-goes extrapolation of urban life.

Pick up all 62 issues of Transmetropolitan for half-price during the next four days. Don’t wait a minute longer add this incredible series to your digital collection now.

With an introduction by Alan Moore to boot!

King City: Collects KING CITY #1-12! AT LAST! The long-awaited collection of the complete KING CITY series is here, full of full on comic book games, puzzles and wordplay! Joe is a catmaster, trained to use his cat as any tool or weapon. His best friend Pete falls in love with an alien he’s forced to sell into green slavery, while his ex Anna watches her Xombie War veteran boyfriend turn into the drug he’s addicted to. King City, an underbelly of a town run by spy gangs and dark dark magic with mystery down every alleyway.

New & Noteworthy

Seven Soldiers of Victory: Fresh from their hit miniseries, seven unique and unlikely soldiers must join forces to save humanity from its own future! The only catch? They can never meet! Klarion, Zatanna, The Manhattan Guardian, Bulleteer, Mister Miracle, Frankenstein and The Shining Knight return as the apocalyptic threat of the Sheeda intensifies to a terrifying, unexpected climax. A devastating global threat is on its way–one never imagined nor prepared for. It consumes entire civilizations and leaves behind only ruins. Its hunger is unstoppable; its origins, unspeakable. Now this devouring empire of cruelty has set its sights on the treasures of the 21st century.

Daredevil Vol. 3: Having turned his world upside over the past several years, Matt Murdock realizes that justice may not be blind to his past and villains may not be the only ones looking for answers. If Matt Murdock could see what he was up against he’d be terrified.
