Since then it’s gone on to win awards, gain fans, and even launch it’s own spin off series. Now in celebration of all things Irredeemable comiXology is having a three day sale on Mark Waid’s dark super hero saga from now until April 21st!

Check out the series from the beginning or get caught up on the issues missing from your collection. For three days, ending 4/21 at 11pm, issues #1-23 plus the not to be missed 25 page Irredeemable special will be available for only $0.99 making it the perfect time to add this series to your digital library!

NYCC redux

Posted on October 12th, 2010 - 12:06 PM by

A year and a half in the making, New York Comic Con 2010 was a great success. San Diego-like crowds on Saturday were insane, and our schedule of panels kept us hopping, for sure.

First, John and I would like to thank our incredible employees for manning the booth. You were amazing!

We did three big things at the con:

Jim Lee painted iPad

1) We gave away the Jim Lee painted iPad. Wow, we were sorry to see that go!

2) We launched all 40 Farscape comics from BOOM! Studios in the BOOM! Studios App. Fantastic stuff. Go get them!

3) We previewed our internal “authoring” tools at our creator self-promotion panel, which gave everyone a taste for the tools creators will get to eventually use to get their comics onto our platform.

We met a bunch of great retailers, had some super debates in the Scott Kurtz and Vision Machine panels, and I got to shake hands with Stan Lee at the MTV Geek Panel. Comic nerd heaven!

Congratulations to ReedPOP on a great show. We look forward to next year!
